AC Shadows Reveals Bizarre Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre crossover event that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine group.
The questline centers on "bizarre tests and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Content
This update also introduces the game's newest complimentary story addition, titled "The Mystery."
