It's tough for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have been successfully scaled.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the record chasers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

She was tormented by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, out to the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but this time it merely gave Healy's motivation.

A single came off the opening delivery and from that point the batsman was in motion.

"The possibility to take the field and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that aspect, sort of got me going," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her quickest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 as she flogged anything short, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was removed her side needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the belief to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we believe we can succeed."

That comment will be the last Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy was absent due to damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.

So strong is her resolve, she later said she wished she had played with the discomfort.

Yet even as she afterwards confessed those injuries have delayed consideration of ending her career, this tournament is anticipated as her concluding event as leader in 50-over cricket and she is yet to win a world championship as leader.

Success in India would take her to the summit of her last major obstacle.
